Sweet little Bluebird,  so blue as the sky,

A flicker of blue as you go flying by,

The distinct sound you make is not like any other bird,

A soft sweet whisper, like none I have ever heard.

You perch on a post, limb, or a stump,

Watching for your next meal, a worm, or a bug to make a jump.

Turning  your head to one side so you can hear.

You are sent from God on a wing, song, and a prayer.

In the spring It’s your beauty I see,

Giving me hope from a long winter I will be free.

As I was taking photos of ducks on the pond Monday I noticed a few Bluebirds behind the pond bank.  I took just a few photos of them.   Hope you enjoy!
