Spring is one of my most favorite times of the year. It’s like everything is fresh and new. All the great smells and beautiful blooms. Birds singing, bees buzzing, warm sunshine, green grass, tulips and blue skies. Life in full bloom. Happiness, raindrops and daffodils. The land shall sing with the promise of spring.
The red bud trees are beautiful this time of year in Arkansas.
The blooms on my non bearing pear trees are beautiful this year. Each and every white bloom is beautiful has a bee or butterfly.
Most photographers that photograph flowers use a macro lens. I used a 55 mm lens, the same lense I use for almost all my shots. You just have to know your distance and you can take some wonderful shots.
Great bokeh effect can help your photos look amazing. Bokeh effect gives your photos a blurry background behind it’s subject. The featured image and last image in this post, shows how bokeh can make an image look amazing.
Shoot from flower level and down upon the flower. Also only shoot part of the flower. You don’t have to shoot the whole flower to get the whole picture.
Spring is the best time of the year to take great shots of flowers so get out there and have some fun!
Live your life in full bloom!
